Samlerhuset Group is the largest owner of the World Money Fair in Berlin and also includes Mint of Norway, the former government mint belonging to the central bank. This is the nation´s second oldest company, established in 1686.
Mint of Norway strikes the legal tender coins of Norway as well as coins for other nations. The mint has also been entrusted by the Norwegian Nobel Committee to strike the Peace Price Medal each year.

2008: Samlerhuset sells MDM back to its original founder, Richard Borek, and enters China and Latvia
2009: Samlerhuset Group enters Lithuania and the Czech Republic and is awarded contract for the London 2012 Olympics. Appointed new CEO, Mr. Peter Swanston.
2010: Samlerhuset Group enters Slovakia and Belgium. Buys out reminder of joint venture with Mint of Finland to gain full control of marketing operations in Finland, Scandinavia and the Baltic´s.
2011: Samlerhuset Group enters Ireland and Hungary.
